DerekBOURNEIt is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Derek, who left us peacefully on the 7th of February 2025 at The County Hospital in Stafford.
Derek was a beloved husband to the late Barbara, treasured Dad to Helen and Mark, and cherished Grandad to Sophie, William, and Jenson. His warmth and kindness touched the lives of many.
Derek dedicated his life to his family who will cherish the memories they shared with him. His legacy of compassion, generosity, and integrity will continue to inspire all who knew him.
A memorial service to celebrate Derek's life will be held on Thursday the 27th of February 2025 at St John The Evangalist Church in Oulton at 11:15am and then a committal at Stafford Crematorium at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Dementia UK in Derek's memory.
Derek will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace.
